Part 3: HOW TO RESOLVE CONFLICT QUICKLY
After a direct conflict, you will want to get the business relationship back to normal - clear the air.
Is an apology necessary? Go ahead and apologize!
Here’s how to resolve conflict quickly and effectively:
Try: “I don’t like how our conversation went yesterday and I’d really like to clear the air if that’s ok with you.”
Or
Try: “I’m really disappointed that we had a bit of a conflict earlier today, do you have some time to chat in an effort to clear the air and put it behind us.”
9/10 times this will be effective because the other person usually does not want a conflict either because it is uncomfortable.
*Don’t let too much time go by because that makes things even MORE awkward.*
