WHEN TO OUTREACH?
Building that consistent effort with outreach is what's going to keep your occupancy high year round, but you have to start early. Remember, it’s the early bird that gets the worm.
Outreach early in the year, early in the month, and early in the day to make sure it doesn’t get crowded out by other tasks.
Make it part of your weekly routine. Set a recurring event on your calendar for outreach marketing. If you keep the day and time consistent, you are more likely to keep this as a longterm habit.

Barbara’s Tip: I like to say, “Do outreach marketing when nobody else is doing do it.” Nobody’s doing it on a Monday. Nobody’s doing it at the beginning of the month. Nobody’s doing it in those cold winter months. Do it when nobody else is doing it and you'll get the results that nobody else is getting.”
Make Marketing A No-Brainer
Themes help make marketing a consistent part of the schedule. Here are a few ideas:
Social Marketing Monday: Tag a nearby business in your social media for outreach marketing from your desk
Preferred Employer Tuesday: Pick one preferred employer from your list each week to deliver goodies & share new promotions.
Drive-Thru Thursdays: Have our goodies and marketing materials with us and when we go pick up food in the drive-thru, or we're going to get our dry cleaning, or we're getting our nails done, we're “drive thru” marketing with the people we meet.
