When you make your outreach marketing plan for your team, no doubt you have goals to meet. You have a certain number of visits to make and specific people to reach. Do you have first responders on your list? Police Departments, EMS, Fire Stations… Take 10 minutes today to sit down and map them out get your plan together.

First Responders have high-stress jobs and many times go unthanked. Take a little time to show them some love. It may create a good relationship and open opportunities for leasing later.

PRO TIP: Kick it up a notch!

They have crazy shifts. For example, sometimes they’ll work for 24 hrs and have 48 hrs off. Along with your goodies or treats, take some books, puzzles or DVDs to the firehouses and police stations to keep them occupied on their downtime.

ALIGN YOUR TEAM’S GOALS

Set some realistic goals for your team to achieve together! Help them see the overall goal of nurturing the community with law enforcement offices and showing appreciation.

  • Include a couple of law enforcement highlights on your virtual outreach marketing calendar per month

  • Keep outreach sets on hand to keep your outreach team fully stocked and ready to go

  • Mention in your team’s weekly meetings to keep everyone focused. This is an ongoing goal!
