Get your residents involved in a sweet contest. Guess how many marshmallows are in the jar and the lucky winner gets a prize! For this one, we’ve even provided the game photo.
Simply fill a jar with lucky charm marshmallows (where was this option when we were kids?!), display your signs, and let people start guessing. You can have guess cards sitting out or people can guess online on social media. See below for a complete done-for-you version!

There are 1,169 marshmallows in our picture.
What do you have to buy? Nothing! What do you have to count? Nothing! Make it an online event and use our done-for-you photos! There are 1,169 marshmallows in our picture. We TRIPLE-CHECKED! Use our provided photo (there are 1,169 marshmallows) or fill your own large jar with Lucky Charms marshmallows (you can buy just the marshmallows) and snap a pic.
Post the social media square and Instagram story along with our picture to get residents to comment and share their guesses online. Make sure to let residents know when the winners will be announced. This is a fun way to get residents engaged online.
The closest guess in the comments or stories will win! Announce the person on your social media page. Is that not the easiest event you have ever seen? You don't need to buy the jar, the cereal or anything. Enjoy!
Extra Hints: The dimensions of the jar are 4.7" x 4.7" x 5.5", and the jar can hold 1 quart. Might we make a suggestion? Perhaps only mention the height of the jar (5.5 inches), or how much it can hold (1 quart). This way you still keep it a little mysterious, and still a bit of a challenge to figure out how many marshmallows are in there.
