RETENTION: END OF YEAR SURVEY

Resident feedback can give us an edge on making small tweaks for big wins. It’s important to take the pulse of our residents regularly and the end of the year is the perfect opportunity to get feedback on what we’ve done well and what we can improve on for the new year.

DO IT NOW IN 1-2-3: 

  1. Grab your design.

  2. Option 1: Pair with gold envelopes and leave them on your residents’ doors.

    Option 2: Set up a station in the leasing office for residents to fill them out. Provide a cup with pens and a basket to drop completed surveys.

  3. Give residents a heads-up on social and via email. Write it in a way that gives residents the answer to “What’s In It For Me?” when returning the survey.

    BONUS: Pair this survey with a random drawing for all who return their surveys.

Sometimes getting small feedback from social media campaigns, where there is little effort on the part of the resident, can be more effective than a huge survey.
