Get residents outside for a little fall fun and friendly competition with a Field Day that’s sure to be a gourd time. From tossing to racing, it’s an easygoing afternoon where residents can fall into some fun and enjoy the season together.

How to host:

Set up activity stations around the community lawn featuring cornhole, ring toss, horseshoes, football toss, sack races, jump rope, hula hoops, and pumpkin bowling.
Let residents rotate through the stations at their own pace, or create teams and award points for each activity.
Give the space an autumn feel with pumpkins, hay bales, fall leaves, and seasonal signage around the activity areas.
Keep each game simple and easy to understand so residents can jump in without lengthy instructions or complicated equipment.

Make it easy and competitive:

Offer small prizes for categories such as highest overall score, best team name, or “most spirited competitor.”
