Easy Winter Outreach Blitz Ideas

We’ve made it SO easy…

Winter Outreach Blitz in 4 Easy Steps
When Lauren and I ran this exact blitz the other week, we met a dozen people actively looking for new homes - no fancy setup, just cookies and conversation.
Here I am with my cookies visiting local businesses (walking the walk because if you have to do it, I want to make sure it's doable!)
Step 1: Define Your Goal & Set the Date
Decide what you want to achieve—new leases, open house attendance, brand reputation, management announcements, or social media engagement. Pick a date when your team is available and businesses are most receptive (avoid Mondays and Fridays).
Step 2: Prepare Marketing Materials & Goodies
Create professional, easy-to-digest flyers, brochures, or invitations. Add seasonal designs, QR codes, or special offers to make your materials stand out. Include small giveaways to leave a memorable impression.
Step 3: Plan & Execute the Blitz
Prep Meeting: Assign team roles, review your target list (35–40 locations), practice messaging, and plan for objections.
Outreach: Dress professionally, introduce your community, share key benefits, and leave materials. Keep interactions concise but engaging.
Step 4: Follow Up for Maximum Impact
Log visits and notes in a spreadsheet to track leads and next steps.
Reach out to your most engaged contacts within 48 hours with personalized messages.
Maintain relationships with periodic check-ins and exclusive perks to strengthen connections.
Bottom Line: A successful outreach blitz isn’t just dropping off flyers—it’s about building relationships, creating excitement, and generating leads. Preparation, execution, and thoughtful follow-up are the keys to long-lasting results.
On the Go Marketing Alternative:
Ask every employee to leave some at the restaurant when they are picking up their lunch order (and give them a few extra minutes for lunch)!
Leave a few bundles while you are out running errands: at the bank, drive-thru, getting your nails done, etc.
Ask to leave them in the breakroom/waiting room at surrounding businesses.
