This November, we’re celebrating the amazing places that make your neighborhood special! Give local coffee shops, parks, boutiques, and other neighborhood favorites a little love with a shout-out or cross-promotion. Your neighborhood is the real treasure!

How to make these graphics your own:

Name the shop: Share the business name and, if helpful, its location or how close it is to your community.
Recommend a favorite: Highlight a popular/signature item, or your team's personal go-to.
Tag the business: Tag the shop's official social media account in your caption or photo so residents can easily find them and the business can see your shout-out.
Make it local: Share what makes this spot worth visiting, whether it's a cozy atmosphere, unique menu, or a convenient neighborhood location.

Pro tip: If you don't have a favorite yet, ask your team or residents for recommendations! You might even invite residents to comment with their go-to orders or tag their favorite shops.

“Your Passport to the Neighborhood” Event

Help residents explore local coffee shops, parks, and boutique shops in your neighborhood.

Residents get a Passport Card listing nearby spots (coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, parks, library, etc.). Each time they visit, they ask the business to sign/stamp the passport, or they snap a selfie as proof. Completed passports can be turned in at the leasing office for a prize drawing.

🛍 How It Works

Distribute Passports

Hand them out at the leasing office, slip under doors, or email a printable PDF.
Each page has spaces for 6–10 “local adventures.”

Resident Adventures

Visit participating businesses (arrange with partners for a stamp/sticker) OR
If you don’t want to coordinate with vendors, residents can simply take a photo/selfie at the location and show it when turning in the passport.

Prize Drawing

Each “stamp” or selfie counts as one entry.
Bonus prize entries if residents complete the whole passport!

Coffee Shop Challenge – try a seasonal drink ☕️

Shop Small – boutique, thrift shop, or bookstore 🛍
