Snow Globe Memories Event

Delicious drinks, festive treats, and sparkling crafts—what more could you ask for? A Build-Your-Own Snow Globe event is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Invite residents to create lasting memories (complete with a dash of glitter!) with keepsake snow globes they’ll love to display or gift.

🌱 Tips for event success:

Remind residents to bring their printed photos to the event or offer to print the photos for them.
Print the snow globe template on card stock paper for a sturdier final product. (We’ve added our pick to the shopping list below)
Ask a volunteer or two to operate the glue gun… ideally have a station set up where they can take 30 min shifts. Have plenty of extra hot glue sticks on hand!
Offer to create a digital version of the snow globe by asking residents to email you their photo and inserting it into this template. Print off the final image for them or email them a jpeg version for them to share with friends and family.

Setting up this one-table event is a breeze! Print your designs, gather your supplies, and package them up with a bow! Your residents will love creating their own mini snow globes at home.

🌱 Tip: Don’t have time to prepackage the kits for residents to pick up? Place all of the different items in separate bins like an assembly line and allow residents to bag their own items. (It’s always a good idea to have some snacks to-go ready too)

- Cost of the DIY Snow Globe Packs: Under $2.50 each! The gift bags include a clear bag, crinkle paper, the snowglobe, one snowman, two pine trees and fake snow… we added in extra glittery fake snow - use the tiny plastic bags for the snow! We also tied our gifts up with a velvet ribbon for an extra special touch.
- Easy to Assemble DIY Snow Globe Instructions: You can use glue (not included) to fix the mini snowman and mini tree on the lid of the snow globe, and then add water and fake snow to the plastic ball and screw the lid on. Voila!
