Daily Dose: On-Site or Off-Site Fitness Events

As the wise Fergie once said, “I be up in the gym just workin’ on my fitness...” 🏋️‍♀️

Get your residents excited about your community AND getting fit with this Daily Dose! Depending on what your fitness equipment/studio looks like, you could do these events onsite or offsite at a nearby studio. For an onsite fitness class, you can get an instructor to come in and teach a class in your space. For classes that require more space or equipment, offsite classes are a great option. Linking up with a nearby studio for classes is a great way to cross-promote, too!



Bonus Points: Freeze the towels ahead of time for a surprise refresher! 


Before the event:

  • Decide whether your fitness event will be onsite or offsite.

  • Coordinate with the  instructor or fitness studio to work out a plan.

  • Customize your flyers above (suggest carpooling if parking is limited!)

  • Post the digital invite online and tag the instructor or studio.

  • Print out the invitation and post it around your community or hand out to your residents.

The day of the event:

  • If the fitness class is in-house, make sure you have all of the equipment and the space is set up and clean. 

  • Make sure to have water bottles and towels on hand for your residents and instructor.

  • If the event is offsite, make sure to take a stack of flyers to leave at the studio and business cards. Bonus points for bringing labeled water bottles too! 

  • Post the social media square to remind your residents of the event.

  • Take lots of pictures of the event. Post on social media and tag the instructor and/or the studio. The more you show how fun your events are, the more people will want to join in the fun!
