(#486) MEDICAL OUTREACH

MEDICAL OUTREACH

Daily Dose: Thank You to Emergency Nurses!

Time Investment: ⏰⏰

Money Investment: $-$$

October 9th is Emergency Nurses Day!

You can do this initiative any day but we figured you might want to get a little festive on this special day for nurses.

This outreach initiative is the perfect way to say thank you to emergency room nurses in your area and also to let them know about your community’s specials by giving them some practical goodies and an energy boost for those long nights.

Are they part of your Preferred Employer Program? Even BETTER. Make sure they know that you appreciate them and want them to be a part of your community.

TWO EASY OPTIONS

Gift bags:

  • Put a couple of items in each gift bag - mix it up! Put a hand sanitizer with a first aid kit in one bag, in another you can put a face mask and an energy bar/drink. Make them all a little different so they each get a special surprise.

  • Insert a ¼ page flyer with a business card or customize a flyer with your community’s info.

  • Add some tissue paper.

Treat Basket:

  • Put a 3-5 of each item above in a basket.

  • Include a stack of customized flyers or business cards.

  • Add some tissue paper for filler and decor.

  • Post the social square to reach all the nurses that you couldn’t visit. Tag any of the hospitals that are active on social, too!
