Let’s keep this outreach initiative simple and sweet. Because no, not every marketing visit needs to be over the top with large gift baskets and extravagant items. Taking small jars of refreshing treats (especially in the HOT summer months) creates an opportunity to continually grow the relationship. How? When that jar of treats is running low, encourage your PEP to call you for a refill. Even if they don’t call, stop by with a quick visit...and a refill.

Mason jars or treat bags for a more budget-friendly option

BRING IT TO LIFE
Put a generous amount of lemonade packets inside a mason jar or treat bag.
Tie off the jar/treat bag with some colorful ribbon.
Place your customized round sticker on the lid/bag.
Attach a ¼ page flyer to the jar by punching a hole in the top corner and looping the ribbon through it.
Take a stack of flyers and business cards along with the jar and visit a handful of your preferred employers each week. You want to gift these to the gatekeepers ---receptionists, secretaries, etc. Ask them to leave your info in their conference or break rooms. By the end of the month, you’ll have visited your entire list.
